Thanks Eileen for creating this fun frame. I however did not know what you had intended it to look like so I made art. Double stick foam dots were used to add the painted pieces to become my art piece. Really simple and kinda cute.

Fall is here and with the windy days and all that leaf raking I like to wear a hairband so that my hair stays somewhat out of my face. I used a dollar store hairband (7 for $1 actually) and tore off the horrible fabric if was covered with and then wrapped it with fabric strips. I like to use double stick tape along the top edge of the hair band before wrapping and then everything stays nice and neat. When the hair band is covered I added the flower accent made from the Brenda Pinnick Sizzix die. I grundged it up a little with inks and played with the pieces, cutting some and then wrapping them tightly around to form the bud centers. Kinda cute and Ever So Fast.....

Triple Play Bloghop - Twist cube

Good Morning Everyone,

This is going to be quick as I am headed off to volunteer at a Wounded Warriors Event in Fairfax, VA. We will be sewing up a storm - not unlike our ancestors who rolled bandages to help during previous conflicts. It's Veteran's Day or Remembrance Day in Canada and a time for us all to reflect...

The 'Twist Cube' - I must admit, I was intimidated and frankly a little worried about this one. I however found out that Karen's instructions could not have been more clear and it really was worth the effort as I have spent some considerable time playing with my box. It folds perfectly every time. Wow!

I chose a birthday theme and will place a gift card in my box before presenting it to the Birthday
Girl. I used The Birthday Scrap Kit from K & Company featuring Tim Coffety's artwork. The kit came with everything I needed.

Until Next Time.......

Triple Play Bloghop - Candy Stripe House

We're up and running.... What fun - I have to tell you a little story about my house. Recently I spent a day decorating a store front with my good friend, Cyndi. Well as you can imagine I was covered in glitter upon returning home soooo... I decided this was the time to decorate my little house since glitter was already in my hair, up my nose etc. While this seemed like a good idea here is the problem.

Never try to use an iron on anything while covered in glitter it does not work as the glitter covers the fusible web and then sticks to nothing. My advice: give yourself a good shake and then proceed to work on your blog hop entry.

Here is mine:

I used fabric, buttons, fusible web, spray adhesive, fringed trim and lots of glitter. Oh Yeah and all this wonderfulness is on top of Eileen Hull's Scoreboard die # 656836 Simple and clean kind of like me when I brush off the glitter.

See you next time.
