Having a Halloween Party in the next week or so? I could not resist lacing up Eileen's cupcake die to create corsets for my delicious cupcakes. So Simple - honestly! Punch some holes - lace them up and add some metallic accents with a silver rub-on product. Slip in the cupcake of your choice and viola they are done. What fun! I am looking forward to creating a few more perhaps with a wedding or holiday theme. Lots of sparkle.
The 2010 bloghop is set to go next week and I have my project ready to go. Tune in on the 4th to see it along with the 50+ artists playing along with Eileen, Karen and Brenda.

Recently I had the opportunity to drive up to Maryland with Eileen Hull to visit with Tiffany Windsor, Heidi Borchers and Candice Liccone. It was a true pleasure and really an inspiring afternoon as each of these ladies talked about their businesses, the past and what the future might bring..... We might have different paths for our individual businesses but I believe the thing we have in common is that we are all in the business of providing inspiration to others. We either create beautiful things for publication, teach creatively challenged people how to let go and just create, inspire others through the written word, provide internet TV production or we sell finished projects and supplies on-line or in a store-front. Some of us do all of these things, some of us do a few of them.
I think it is essential to have people around you who understand what you do for a living. Having a hobby and having a job within the 'hobby' industry is two different things. Defining the difference is not always easy. Having someone get the difference right away is wonderful. Friends are Fun - Friends are Necessary - Friends are Life.
